Saving surface to jpg or other format

Hello All,

I want to load Jpeg and other formats in Cairo and after processing on image
contents, i want to save the surface in Jpeg or other formats.

I am looking on google for the same and saw that pixbuf or libjpg is needed
for the same. Is there no way to load Jpeg like Png intrinsic function in
Cairo?

can I have the image surface data extracted by some library like OpenCV.?
