as I know, HB sent you an e-mail about the problem of recording surface a couple of days ago.


then you fixed it. and the patch is on the central repository now.




but I've tested the recording surface today, the source from the central repository, and There's something wrong.


the problem HB told you is fixed. but now it's different problem.


so I want you to know about that.


Can you let me know when it's fixed?




Steps of Test code.


1. the browser loads newyork times (nytimes.com)


2. create a recording surface and paint the browser screen to it. (Pic #1,#2 are the recording surface)


3. paint the recording surface to small image surfaces. (Pic #3,#4 are one of the image surfaces)






you can see something wrong in Pic #2, #4.

I didn't read these the first time around because they were HTML emails
with no text, i.e. they appeared blank in both by MUA and in the archives.

After finally grasping what your issue was and deciding that you did
indeed have a genuine use-case and that the recording-surface was indeed
meant to function as you desired in this case, I fixed the image surface
and helpers to "do the right thing".
