For me, sha1 look good.
$ sha1sum cairo*.xz
bc2ee50690575f16dab33af42a2e6cdc6451e3f9  cairo-1.12.2.tar.xz
f4158981ed01e73c94fb8072074b17feee61a68b  cairo-1.12.4.tar.xz

$ ls -ln cairo*.xz
-rw-r--r-- 1 1000 1000 42051584 29 avril 21:52 cairo-1.12.2.tar.xz
-rw-r--r-- 1 1000 1000 42099760  5 oct.  18:20 cairo-1.12.4.tar.xz
