[...] Wow. Seems like we really need a test suite for this test suite. There are two problems which both boil down to "xcb-render-0.0 contains a dot". After fixing the first one, cairo-test-suite now reports that it can't find "xcb-render-0" and the second one renamed xcb-render-0.0 to xcb-render-0_0. Thanks for reporting this.
