use DirectFB instead of pixman

Hi, 
I use DirectFB surface backend in cairo,

i want to use DirectFB instead of pixman because of the hardware acceleration capability of DirectFB,

is this possible ? Does someone could give some ideas if could ?

I am newbie about for cairo arch :)

My application is written by GKT with DirectFB, versions information as following:

gtk+ version: 2.24.15
directfb version: 1.4.0
cairo version: 1.12.14
