Hi,

I think you mean on PyPI, not on PyPy http://www.pypy.org/

Also, even outside of PyPI, 1.10 is the latest version of pycairo. As 
far as I can tell, pycairo is not maintained. I sent patches more than a 
year ago and never got a response.

Have a look at cairocffi: http://pythonhosted.org/cairocffi/

If you see some cairo functionality missing in cairocffi please write a 
GitHub issue, it should be easy enough to add.
