Hi!
Also I tried to build cairo 1.12.16 (with or without 32bit support) but
the build failed.
I added "V=1" to make command, like your hint.

So, here you can see cairo's config.log: http://pastebin.com/mw5RXdWY
A lot of lines :)....

Anyway this is my build function:
