Hi Bryce, thank you for your response. A sentence for the problem statement could be: The non-public CGFontGetGlyphPath function is deprecated in OSX 10.10 yosemite and results in run-time problems for applications using cairo. The function is replaced with CoreText calls. This breaks support for OSX 10.4. However, please note that there was a discussion about using CoreText here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84324 because it would break 10.4 support as far as I understand it. From my point of view breaking 10.4 when 10.10 which is the current OS version does not run is a problem that could/should be fixed later. During the discussion there was nobody who could even test 10.4 as there was no system available running 10.4.
