I have a huge font mess with graphite on OSX. Solved by installing a back-version of Cairo

Hi,

I recently installed graphite on my mac using these instructions which
installs Cairo 1.14.2.  The rendering below is a png.

The problem was solved by installing a back version of Cairo.  I randomly
chose 1.12.6.  Not sure what the specific api issue is, as I¹m more of an
end-user.
