visual problem with cursor when selecting text in FXText with FOX 1.7

Dear Jeroen, all,

I have been working for some time on one of my applications with FOX 1.7. I
was previously using 1.7.77 and I recently updated to 1.7.79.

I have noticed a problem present for both releases. I have a customized
FXText widget but something simple: I set some custom colors and fonts and
I intercept some key events to customize its behavior. The problem I
observe is that when I select some text using the mouse, if I move quickly
the cursor is drawn all over the selection and it remains shown.

Another problem I noticed is that if I click elsewhere the cursor remains
drawn in the previous location. I guess this problem is related to the
previous one.

Just an additional information: I didn't had this problem with FOX 1.6
before.

Any help is appreciated. I can also accept a patch to modify the FOX
library itself waiting for a new release. That would let me fix the problem
quickly and I compile the FOX library from sources anyway.
