Hi folks, any progress on this one? In case it's not clear, in the right
circumstances, the regression can cause an enormous amount of coredumps and
associated log spam.

For example, Arch build tooling uses "ldd -u" in a post-build linting phase and
I currently have approx' 3000 bogus entries in my coredumpctl output :) Thanks.
