That's unfortunate; it'd be better to keep these files in sync if their 
implementation is basically the same.

If they can't be synced, though, perhaps it'd be better if Gnulib 
renames the include file and its macros. After all, it is not specific 
to systemd.

 From the Gnulib point of view, suppose the same issue comes up in 
macOS? I can see many changes happening then.
