Following this change I see the following error during bootstrap:

  autoreconf: running: /usr/bin/autoconf --force
  configure:18862: error: undefined or overquoted macro: gl_MUSL_LIBC
        If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
        See the Autoconf documentation.
  autoreconf: error: /usr/bin/autoconf failed with exit status: 1
  ./bootstrap: autoreconf failed

That is in a project of mine that builds a dynamic module for Emacs, but
I was able to reproduce the same error in a dummy reproducer project
with only the following change:

Here's the full recipe:

0. cd "$(mktemp -d)"
1. git clone 'https://git.sr.ht/~blc/foo'
2. cd foo && ./bootstrap

Hopefully the cause is more obvious to you, as I won't be able to look
into this for another week or two, sorry.

Thanks,
