So I simplified and adapted the code, built and installed the service. I logged out to be sure the service is available. And finally I got the expected menu under 'Services' with 'Open URL' action ('Ouvrir URL' in my French context) while selecting an URL in a text within TexTEdit or Ink.

But I got then this error:
	Failed to contact service provider for 'Open URL'

I also installed firefox and tweaked the code to use the '-url' option, not '-remote'.

I attached the code adapted from 'tests-examples': which is my second attempt, not the same code I provided previously.
