Hi Hanah,
the error message is thankfully helpful here. Yes, you need to install ‚curl‘ first before you can execute the direct command.
You can do this by either typing:
> sudo snap install curl
or
> sudo apt install curl
into your terminal. You then have to enter your login password to authorize.
After the command is done repeat entering
> curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnustep/tools-scripts/master/gnustep-web-install-dev | bash
into the terminal. Now everything should work. If not, please post what happened instead.
