Upcoming GNUstep anniversary?

Hi 'Steppers,


according to http://gnustep.made-it.com/Guides/History.html on May 11, 2026 we may celebrate GNUsteps 35th birthday, if I am not mistaken.

Depending on what we count as birthdate of GNUstep:

- the first coining of the term
- the first commit in our repos


We could use the anniversary for spreading the word about GNUstep if we get some publications to write an article about us.


How did I come about this? Because of this article in the largest European IT-news site (as they claim by themselves):

I don’t know who is more fringe: ReactOS or we … :-))) SCNR!
