Hello, I am working on an application to replace 'WMText' dockapp with a more powerfull and consistent GNUstep template. The goal is to create then a collection of little GNUstep apps to improve the ones I am using: Weather, System Package Updater, Date and Birthdays, Memory... Enhancements will namely permit badge notifications and interaction to launch related actions or panels if needed. Stages: 1- Studiing **batmon** code (by Riccardo Mottola) and creating a model from it with a static "Hello" text displayed on the AppIcon: done. 2- Adding a simple menu to permit later adding Help and related Actions: done. 3- Adding dynamic text from an NStask output to retrieve external infos (weather) or internal system infos (updates...): work in progress. - I am working from this tutorial: wwww.nongnu.org/gstutorial/en/ch19.html: Non-blocking I/O 4- Adding badge notification: to be done. 5- Adding related actions: to be done.
