Hello,

I am proud and happy to anounce Agnostep 2.0.0 BETA availability.

What is new? This Beta release contains many changes and improvments.
Morevover, as issues were fixed with a better stability in mind, new
native GNUstep applications have been also created in purpose to
improve User Experience in a more consistent way:

Meteo.app: a weather appicon also displaying the current date.
Based on wttr.in API.
UpMem.app: displaying uptime and memory usage.
Updater.app: a badged appIcon to notify available upgradable
debian packages, wich permits to perform then the upgrade from the
displayed list.
Birthday.app: a badged appicon to notify family events: a must
have for a grand-father like me. ;-)
OpenDisk.app: opens the media folder where removable disks are
mounted: a companion to wmudmount and udisks2, without the need to
display the background of GWorkspace.
Launcher.app: a quick way to open the Applications folder in a new
window.
ScreenLock.app: a simple screen locker based on xtrlock.
Pass.app: a GNUstep interface to the Unix Password Manager which
look at the local Password Store.
Mixer.app: a simplified compatible ALSA Mixer forked from
VolumeControl.
AgnostepManager.app: a wizard to install more applications from
sources.
Dico.app: a French lookup Dictionary and service based on the DVLF
by the University of Chicago.
SaveLink.app: an Internet Shortcuts Manager. See the Favorites
folder.

Since this release, the help bundles will be provided within the
relevant apps, thanks to HelpViewer enhancements.

The theme as been simplified with a single flavour: we chose namely
the NeXT menu style, the Clip and the Dock of Window Maker. See new
screenshot below. Also, with a third collection of Wallpapers
(MALLORCA) the wprotate tool will use the background of the window
manager instead of the GWorkspace one.
