Now that's interesting, cultural perceptions of time I've always found to be as fascinating as the endless ways peoples have found to consume food. In Ethiopia a week is 7 days but two weeks (a fortnight) is 15 days. I think because two weeks is a "half month" and months are all 30 days in length (at least the first 12 anyway). "High Noon" occurs at 6AM, under western reckoning, but locally the day has 7 divisions. One must be very, very careful when scheduling an appointment... When does "High Tea" occur? Is it before or after "Second Lunch"? ;-) /Daniel
