Jay: Maybe you could provide more information: the platform you're running on, the JVM, and the version of ICU (3.0 or current CVS snapshot). And of course I can't help you with your IDE without knowing what it is. On win2K using j2sdk1.4.2_04 it works fine for me. I put the icu4j.jar and the translitIME.jar files in the jre/lib/ext directory of my JVM, and run off the command line like this: c:/j2sdk1.4.2_04/bin/java -classpath classes com.ibm.icu.dev.tool.ime.IMETest The status window shows up in the lower right. The IME uses ctrl-space to enable/disable input method processing. By default it is off (this is confusing, but it's just a tool, not a demo). Doug _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
