Problem with JTC 2.0.0 on Redhat 9

Hello,

The version of JTC I'm using is included with Orbacus 4.1.0.
JTC compiles fine, but runTest hangs on ThreadExitTest.
When running the test on itself, it's output is:

You should see 10 dots, 250 msecs between each: ..........
Before join (should see second pause)
After join
 
It looks everything functions ok, except terminating the
threads?

I've used gcc 2.95.3, 3.2.2 and 3.3 with the same results.
Does anyone have any experience using JTC on RedHat 9?

ps: From what I find on www.iona.com, Redhat 9 is not
supported, but I would like to find out why things are not
working anyway :-)
