Hi, Could anyone suggest further troubleshooting steps for this problem: I've installed following packages from the openSUSE 10.3 server: libchipcard3-3.0.3-11 pcsc-lite-1.4.3-10 pcsc-towitoko-2.0.7-68 now there seem to be unresolved symbols in libtowitoko.so plus an 'error 1 on startup of reader "tow1"'. These are the details: /usr/bin/towitoko-tester can access my cards but libchipcardd not. Starting chipcardd3 then running /usr/bin/cardcommander3 gives this: # GWEN_LOGLEVEL=info chipcardd3 --logtype console --loglevel info -f 6:2007/09/02 01-03-54:gwen(21741):gwenhywfar.c: 111: Error on br_init: 4 ... 6:2007/09/02 01-03-55:chipcardd(21742):chipcardd.c: 1070: Ready to service requests. ... 6:2007/09/02 01-03-59:gwenhywfar(21742):ipc.c: 1371: Got an incoming connection ... 6:2007/09/02 01-03-59:gwen(21744):libloader.c: 165: Loaded library "/usr/lib/libtowitoko.so.2" 6:2007/09/02 01-03-59:gwen(21744):libloader.c: 266: Library "/usr/lib/libtowitoko.so.2" loaded 6:2007/09/02 01-03-59:gwen(21744):libloader.c: 210: Error resolving symbol "rsct_version": /usr/lib/libtowitoko.so.2: undefined symbol: rsct_version 6:2007/09/02 01-03-59:gwen(21744):libloader.c: 210: Error resolving symbol "CT_init_name": /usr/lib/libtowitoko.so.2: undefined symbol: CT_init_name ... 6:2007/09/02 01-04-01:chipcardd(21742):clr_notification.c: 189: Sending notification reader:start to all clients 6:2007/09/02 01-04-01:gwenhywfar(21742):nl_http.c: 1059: Outgoing packet started 6:2007/09/02 01-04-01:gwen(21744):nl_packets.c: 445: Message finished 6:2007/09/02 01-04-01:gwen(21744):nl_http.c: 1059: Outgoing packet started 6:2007/09/02 01-04-01:gwenhywfar(21742):nl_packets.c: 445: Message finished 3:2007/09/02 01-04-01:chipcardd(21742):devicemanager.c: 1445: Driver reported error 1 on startup of reader "tow1": Unknown error code 3:2007/09/02 01-04-01:chipcardd(21742):devicemanager.c: 430: Decrementing active reader count tow1 (46d9efdc) [3->6] Running the qt-wizard from within gnucash gives me lots of this in syslog (chipcardd3 now started as a daemon without special logging options): Sep 2 21:36:46 panama chipcardd[13440]: devicemanager.c: 1717: Incrementing active reader count tow1 (46db0f93) [1] Sep 2 21:36:46 panama chipcardd[13440]: dm_driver.c: 359: Incrementing active readers count of driver tow_ctapi [46db0f93](0->1) Sep 2 21:36:46 panama chipcardd[13440]: devicemanager.c: 2079: Driver "46db0f93" (tow_ctapi) is up (Library loaded) Sep 2 21:36:49 panama chipcardd[13440]: devicemanager.c: 1445: Driver reported error 1 on startup of reader "tow1": Unknown error code Sep 2 21:36:49 panama chipcardd[13440]: devicemanager.c: 430: Decrementing active reader count tow1 (46db0f93) [3->6] Sep 2 21:36:49 panama chipcardd[13440]: dm_driver.c: 377: Decrementing active readers count of driver tow_ctapi [46db0f93](1->0) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
