Reliable PCMCIA card reader?

Hi,

I’m getting more and more fed up with my CM4000 card reader. Without
obvious reason it sometimes just does not work, with chipcardd reporting
unknown reader errors. Only wild restarting of chipcardd, ejecting with
pccardctl and reloading the cm4000_cs driver can get it to work − if at
all.

Do you know of a PCMCIA card reader that works reliably with chipcardd?

Thanks,
Joachim
