Long story made short, I must have deleted myself sometimes in the past.
I cannot remember though, that I did that.

	$ dpkg --status libctapi-cyberjack2
	[=E2=80=A6]
	Conffiles:
	 /etc/udev/rules.d/z80_cyberjack.rules 60ddd8bd419f31947e059f345b26e609
	 /etc/cyberjack/cyberjack.conf.default b29eaad5b74d991775620c80699b6d40

I switched debugging on for `dpkg` (man dpkg).

	$ sudo dpkg --debug=3D21 -i libctapi-cyberjack2_3.3.2-1debian5_i386.deb=20

	[=E2=80=A6]

	D000001: deferred_configure updating conffiles
	D000020: deferred_configure `/etc/udev/rules.d/z80_cyberjack.rules' (=3D `=
/etc/udev/rules.d/z80_cyberjack.rules') useredited=3D1 distedited=3D0 what=
=3D2002
	D000020: conffderef in=3D`/etc/cyberjack/cyberjack.conf.default' result=3D=
`/etc/cyberjack/cyberjack.conf.default'
	D000020: deferred_configure `/etc/cyberjack/cyberjack.conf.default' (=3D `=
/etc/cyberjack/cyberjack.conf.default') useredited=3D-1 distedited=3D-1 wha=
t=3D2
	[=E2=80=A6]

Then I forced `dpkg` to install the missing conffile.

	$ sudo dpkg --debug=3D21 -i --force-confmiss libctapi-cyberjack2_3.3.2-1de=
bian5_i386.deb=20

	[=E2=80=A6]

	D000001: deferred_configure updating conffiles
=09
	Konfigurationsdatei =C2=BB/etc/udev/rules.d/z80_cyberjack.rules=C2=AB exis=
tiert auf dem System nicht.
	Installiere neue Konfigurationsdatei wie angefordert.
	D000020: deferred_configure `/etc/udev/rules.d/z80_cyberjack.rules' (=3D `=
/etc/udev/rules.d/z80_cyberjack.rules') useredited=3D-1 distedited=3D-1 wha=
t=3D204
	D000020: conffderef in=3D`/etc/cyberjack/cyberjack.conf.default' result=3D=
`/etc/cyberjack/cyberjack.conf.default'
	D000020: deferred_configure `/etc/cyberjack/cyberjack.conf.default' (=3D `=
/etc/cyberjack/cyberjack.conf.default') useredited=3D-1 distedited=3D-1 wha=
t=3D2

	[=E2=80=A6]

Check it.

	$ ls -l /etc/udev/rules.d/

	[=E2=80=A6]

	-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root   546 30. Jul 1:6 z80_cyberjack.rules

One last question though. Does it have to be executable? All other
rules-files are not.

Thanks,

Paul
