HI Todd and Daniel, After making this change I was able to run clockspeed. I have some quetions. First of all I want to have a time synchronisation between two of my linux boxes which are at the extreme ends of a network of five nodes. I need this symchronisation so that I can analyze the traffic delay and time related issues. Will it be good idea to use clockspeed, as I saw that doing the things as explained the installation guide, two of my boxes didn't have time match.... they seem to be different by some 20ms. I tried this by taking a re,ote ntp server. I also tried to sync my network using a local client/server scheme.I had precion initially but after sometime the time variation increased. Will using 'ntpdate' give me better results for my tests. Or waiting for few days will result in better sync using clockspeed.I can feel in the long run clckspeed is definetly better as it doesn't require any communication as in case of ntp. Am I right in this or is there some signalling going on between client and ntp server. Please suggest me. For me now bottom line is to sunc two of my machined upto micro second level? Please suggest me how should I achieve this. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Web Hosting - Let the expert host your site http://webhosting.yahoo.com
