If you run clockspeed on the slaves, and feed it (via /usr/local/clockspeed/adjust) with a couple of taiclock measurements spaced apart, clockspeed will keep their clocks from drifting too much. However, they will probably still drift a little. And if the clock is off when clockspeed first starts (or is restarted), clockspeed won't have any way of knowing, so it won't correct that. So you should give clockspeed further taiclock measurements on a regular basis. Hence the extra complications of the scripts on Frank's site. paul
