I suggested looking at libowfat, because it appears to be the most
complete implementation of what Bernstein wrote about under
http://cr.yp.to/software.html

I cannot say anything about the correctness of the implementation.
I suppose the author of libowfat, Felix v. Leitner, has had the same
resources for it as everyone else and cannot read Bernstein's mind.

Therfore, instead of reimplementing the 100th version of the djb library
I'd suggest to contact Felix - maybe he is open for discussion
(and perhaps other programmers as well, who have used Dan's library code
in their own projects).

BTW: All those DJB MLs are really borked: qsecretary + mad
autoresponders + harvesting bots - could it become worse?
