PayPal auto-responding to emails to this list?

My last couple of emails to this list have been followed by my receipt
of an email from [email protected] thanking me for contacting
PayPal Customer Service, inviting me to use another means of contacting
them, and informing me that they can't respond to emails sent to that
address.  I suspect that that (or a related) address is subscribed to
this list, and is auto-responding to all emails sent to it.  If this is
the case, is it possible for someone to remove that email address from
this list?
