Hi Robert,
We had done a project with Qt 5 + libusb 1.0. It supported both Windows and
Linux(we used Ubuntu). I can not say whether libusb supports OS X or not.
But, I can say it's really a good idea to use libusb with Qt to support
cross-platform applications. For Windows, you will need to install WinUSB
for your device as libusb eventually uses WinUSB APIs for communicating
with USB devices.
