Don't you need a .inf file for that too, thereby requiring
the .inf to be signed for Win10 ?

(Certainly you can get away without having the .inf signed for < Win8,
 as long as the .sys is signed).

I've not heard whether the installation of a temporary root certificate
for the .inf signing is a viable path with Win10 or not either.

This would seem to avoid the need for .inf signing, assuming
it gets supported for Win10.
