configure problem on HP-UX 11.0

I just want to install w3c library on HP-UX platform.
(OS type : HP-UX B.11.00 A 9000/800)
But when running the configure script, I am prompted with
the following error message.
Does this mean that the sed on HP-UX does not work for the configure
script?
