Hello Richard,

How should this patch be applied and which file should be it applied to?
I tried to so with configure.in and patch refused:

In order to check in your commit:

-- Can you check that your diff file is made against the latest CVS version?

-- Can you check that your file can work with patch (or at least tell me
   how I should apply it?).
