How to add our own Headers to a Request Message.

I am trying to add my own Headers to a request message.

My Headers are Throughput, Equipment ID, MaxIdle,Pragma,Range etc...

Please let us know How to add the above Headers to a request message.

 From where to start with and what is the procedure to follow.
