Compile error using GCC 3.4

MTL can be compiled successfully using GCC 3.2 and 3.3.
But it fails when I try to compile it using GCC 3.4.
It seems that the main problem is the dependent name lookup.
GCC 3.4 uses a more strict rule for this to be more comformant
to the Standard.
Is there someone encountered the same problem or if I am missing something?
I would like to know whether there is an effort to fix this now.
If not, I would try to fix the source code myself.
