refcnt_ptr.h bug?

Hi

I am using MTL container classes for the circuit simulator fREEDA 
(www.freeda.org). After upgrading to the latest version (2.1.2-22) I am 
getting a segmentation fault in the refcnt_ptr.h file on line 85. This is 
reported by the electric fence debugger.

I am not sure about a bug fix here. Do you know what this might be?
