Re: mtl 4.0 status

Hello,

Unfortunately, the code is not yet ready for release. However, we  
made good progress on the mathematical background in terms of C++  
concepts. Also we get recently a good amount of work done for  
recursive matrix formats with a flexibility never realized before and  
recursive algorithms.
