/mtl.h:1307: parse error before `>' with g++2.95.4

Hi,

compiling the example symm_sparse_vec_prod.cc of the ./contrib/-folder I get 
this error-message:

mtl/mtl/mtl.h:1307: parse error before `>'

any idea what's wrong?

the code line looks like this:
Real safe_min = std::numeric_limits<Real>::min();

something silly:
using the intel7.0 compiler instead, the code compiles and can be run.
