In fact, I do make use of rdesktop every now and then and the other
end of the rdesktop session can make use of smart cards. I have not
configured rdesktop to use smart card readers, yet, but it would be a
good test scenario (as I use pinpads as well).

Last time I tried I failed and I did not have the time/interest to
debug it further, it was easier to find a windows desktop instead...
