It so happens newlib/libm/math/e{,f,l}_hypot.c have exactly that same header,
where I was considering some adapted extended precision calculations for the
current estimate which does not explictly handle +/-Inf or NaN:
return sqrtl ((x * x) + (y * y));
I will see what OpenLibM can offer us: it apparently is based on FDlibM whose
header we still include!
