Re: osx machine available?

Thanks to Marmoute, I have been able to test the OSX build.
0.9-rc1 builds out of box.
The test machine contained an old 1.6 automake, which causes the
autogen.shgenerated configure to fail by not including
osx.cpp in the sources.
This behaviour is consistent with the two test reports that reported
failure.

So I think we are good on OSX builds.

If OSX fails on you, try:

(1) Update automake to version 1.9, then run autogen.sh

(2) Use the configure script from the distribution zip file, and do *not*
run autogen.sh
