Just tested on my x86_64 machine and everything seems fine.

Couldn't remember if this was "normal" or not though

testing batch 1 (1000 reps)...
  1: test_sphere_point_depth       : ok

  3: test_ccylinder_point_depth    : ok
  4: test_plane_point_depth        : ok
 10: test_ray_and_sphere           : ok
 11: test_ray_and_box              : FAILED (8.30%) at line 721
 12: test_ray_and_ccylinder        : ok
 13: test_ray_and_plane            : ok
100: test_dBoxTouchesBox           : ok
101: test_dBoxBox                  : ok


I have access to some SGI Altix systems, I can try testing ODE on those(Haven't tried since 0.7 I think)

Currently I am using 0.8 with good results.
