I'm using Windows Vista, integrated Realtek High Definition Audio. I haven't updated drivers or run windows update in a couple years because it's really difficult to connect to the internet from my test machines. I'll try that as soon as I can and let you know if it solves my problem. Which OS are you using, and what sound card? No matter the OS or sound card, do check if there are any driver updates available (for your audio solution, or the motherboard chipset), as this is almost certainly a driver-related problem. With more details, maybe someone on the list will recognize this issue or be able to delve deeper.
