+0 and -0

Hi, Is there a difference between +0.0 and -0.0 in position of an sound object. My idea was that 0,0 is the origin and had continuous values positive and negative. But now when - value was added in front of the 0.0 the sound seems to be more biased towards the rear. Is this imaginary, or is there a reason behind this.
