I'm using Windows 7 SP1 64bit, and alcGetString(device, ALC_DEVICE_SPECIFIER) returns "WaveOut Default" (I use alcOpenDevice(NULL) to open the device). I'm using a notebook, and I didn't do any configurations, so it's stereo. And I think I didn't do any changes to the config file.
