We've fixed a couple of bugs:

~ condvars on x86 didn't work due to a typo in the last changes.  This
  hasn't been reported here which makes me believe that nobody actually
  tests the code.

~ debug support on hammer

~ s390 compiles again (this also nobody reported)


The rest are cleanup patches to eliminate warnings and prevent PLT
entries.  To be sure you want the latest CVS glibc, but I don't know of
any recent change which would make this a hard requirement.
