I've uploaded new sources to the usual place:

  http://people.redhat.com/drepper/nptl/nptl-0.51.tar.bz2
   ftp://people.redhat.com/drepper/nptl/nptl-0.51.tar.bz2

Changes include:

~ a gcc with C cleanup handling is now enforced

~ fix pthread_once() handling when cancellation is used. I've fixed
only ia32 and hammer so far. All ports will need some attention

~ beginning of the Alpha port added

~ more cancellation handling support for libc

I've also fixed a problem with kernels which have vsyscall support but
not the vsyscall DSO. This includes the RHL9 kernels. Some people
reported problems with those kernels. It should work now. You need a
very recent kernel: 2003-07-02T02:00:00-0700. The gcc requirement is
automatically enforced. binutils also have to be recent enough to
support .cfi_rel_offset. I'll add a check for this soon. It's not
possible to generate a correct libpthread DSO without such new binutils
so I'll make this a hard requirement, too.
