-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 New sources at http://people.redhat.com/drepper/nptl/nptl-0.54.tar.bz2 ftp://people.redhat.com/drepper/nptl/nptl-0.54.tar.bz2 You need the current (2003-07-21T20:45:00-0700) glibc to compile this code. The changes include: ~ implement pthread_attr_[sg]etaffinity_np. On a NUMA machine you don't want to start a thread on a processor other then the target processor. This functionality needs a very recent (couple of days old) 2.5 kernel with CLONE_STOPPED suport. ~ finish implementation of scheduler thread attributes. You can now select RT schedulers etc but the wakeup completely depends on the futex code which doesn't handle priorities right. All the remaining changes are on the kernel side. This also needs CLONE_STOPPED ~ fix PPC pthread_once() (Steve Monroe) ~ minor build process improvements. I haven't tested the gdb handling since CLONE_STOPPED is used. Maybe it needs some tweaking. - -- - --------------. ,-. 444 Castro Street Ulrich Drepper \ ,-----------------' \ Mountain View, CA 94041 USA Red Hat `--' drepper at redhat.com `--------------------------- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/HLQ02ijCOnn/RHQRAiLOAJ0d16gCk6E/kN+To3zN7ln2AgrRJACfX31V 6wdedUYZYf37pBwG2TVa6i0= =qQSF -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
