I make this source drop because of the changes which went into the glibc
archive today and which probably require these new nptl changes:

~ use unwind code from libgcc_s.  But we avoid linking with libgcc_s
since only a fraction of all programs need it.  This change also gives
ia64 again a fighting chance.  Haven't tried ia64 in a week or two but
it should now more or less work again.

~ changes to the _res variable handling.  Some old programs were unhappy
about the implementation.  The changes should restore binary compatiblity.


You need the glibc CVS sources as of 2003-07-22T22:00:00-0700.
