I should add that the test program is 100% wrong.  No threaded program
must use anything but _exit or exec after fork.  The reason I made the
change nevertheless is that there might be implicit, hidden invocations
of ld.so functionality.  ld.so is special.  Nobody who has yet another
lock which s/he thinks should be reset can safe her/his bits, it's a
waste of everybody's time.  No other lock is going to be reset.
