You need the glibc sources as of 2003-03-11T16:00:00-08000.

The main changes include:

- - little bug fixes (none of them really experienced, all found by
  code review)

- - small optimizations

- - major cleanups

- - ia64 port (Jakub Jelinek).  It mostly works already

- - some more source files for hammer, it doesn't even compile so don't
  bother.

I wouldn't have made a release with the hammer code in this state but
the ppc people need to see the ia64 code to avoid duplicating the work.

And as for Ian Wienand: using Jakub's code does not mean we don't like
yours.  But it is there and we have no assignment trouble.  Just look
though the code and see where your's is better and send patches.
